II. Summary of the Month:

Greetings South West!

As some of you may have heard, or read, as of this coming weekend I
will be moving for colder shores.  While I'll still be a die-hard
cammie, and while I'll always be South West in my heart, I'll be
changing locales for the foreseeable future and leaving my hometown
for the first time.  I'm leaving Los Angeles, and the SW region and
following up on a long put off set of opportunities and paths up the
coast.   I was born and raised here; and have lived all my life here.
It's time to move on and I've got a health set of circumstances to
help me out.

So off I go to Northern Shores, for those interested I'll be setting
down roots in Seattle, Washington... so don't think I'm to far away.

All that said, where does that leave the region?  I've spoken to Mr.
Contreras and it is our intention that I continue to perform my duties
until the election process can be completed, our goal is to have
everything ready for your new Regional Coordinator by the end of
February and having them start officially come March 1st.  This means
a smooth and steady transition post-SWRE and it means that the new
person doesn't have a headache at the onset of his or her mission.

Now I don't know who will be that new R.C., could be someone on my
staff, could be one of our many talented and dedicated Domain or
Chapter coordinators, it could even be a random general member.  That
decision will be yours, all I can say for certain is that we will be
trying to make the transfer and process as painless as possible.   And
I hope that when I finally step down, it can be considered that I left
the Region healthier, happier, and wholer than it was when I stepped
up.

It's been an honor.   It's been a pleasure.   It's been a privilege to
serve you as your Regional Coordinator.  One I will remember fondly
for a long time to come.

Warmest Regards,
Christopher Williams
South West Regional Coordinator (Outgoing)

Let me begin by saying thank you and goodbye to Mr. Christopher
Williams. It was a pleasure working with and for you. I am confident
that regardless of where you call home, the South West will always be
in your heart.

The last month of the year was extremely quiet. I suspect that the holidays played a role in keeping the region quiet. I answered a lot of general questions regarding the problems with the White Wolf page, and the email issues, mainly the same things that Wes had already said
in his many emails to the membership. As always we ran a few elections.  It's a new year and that means new opportunities. Over the last year we have all worked extremely hard to provide the most for our region. Let's keep that momentum and continue to aid our region the best way we can.

Don't forget to mark your Calendars, April 1st, featured game in Las Vegas. You don't want to miss this party, I will forward more information as soon as I have it.
