II. Summary of the Month:

Greetings South West!

It's been a crazy month, gearing up for the impending descent of the Camarilla of the

world for ICC in our neighborhood, the Club Director saying good bye, and White

Wolf be interesting in taking a step back and putting the club in our hands.   An

interesting and crazy time for us all, however that said things have been stable and

solid here in our home region, although we've had some issues they have been met

with the steady and open outlook that I've come to expect as just another good reason

to be in the South West.  With United States National Coordinator Election just around

the corner it's brings to my attention that I have stood as your Regional Coordinator for

a solid year, it's been good I think for the most part.  We've come together as a region,

we've solved a lot of problems and really taken it to the next level in terms of commitment

to each other as a community and to ourselves as members.  I couldn't be more proud,

do you realize that there are people out there that WISH they could be a part of our family.

That I've gotten serious requests from Cammies to be official SW members living

abroad?   No Joke.   And it's not because of me, it's because you guys make our club

great.

I'd like to ask that as many of you as possible make it to Opening Ceremonies at ICC,

because I'd like the for all of us to (during an appropriate time) to stand up give a

rousing "SOUTH WEST" and shake the roof off the place, that and of course welcome

the Camarilla of the world to our home.   For those of you who may remember last ICC,

we had a blast saying hello to the various regional meetings, and while we started 20

strong we ended up sounding like a hundred.   It brought smile to a lot of faces and

frankly I'd like to do it again with all my family standing behind me.  We've come a

hell of a long way together, and no matter what the future holds, I'll always be proud

and honored that you allowed me to stand as your leader during these difficult and

transitory times.

Here's to us, and here is to you!

SOUTH WEST!!!

Home of the Loud & the Proud.

Kindest regards,

Christopher J. Williams

SOUTH WEST Regional Coordinator

III. Questions/Problems from the RC & Staff:

Questions to National from the RC:

From AZ-005-D "Tithe of Souls"

Status request for Appeal Issue regarding the removal of DST of AZ-005-D - Tithe of Souls by National.

From CA-069-I, "Dark Cypress"

How does the prestige for sending in money for the Katrina Relief work? Is there a specific amount and is it General or National Prestige?

Reports Office

We have notified numerous coordinators and domain coordinators that they are not completing their reports properly. Time and time again we have offered them assistance with this issue and time and time again our offer for assistance has been rejected. This poses a problem for all members and needs to be addressed. The reports office hopes the new templates will help alleviate this issue however if it doesn’t we ask for some sort of repercussion for such a blatant disregard for following procedure and the disrespect of the coordinator offices.

IV. Projects:

Administration Office

None.

Arbitration Office

●Gearing up for another great Leadership Seminar at ICC.

Charities Office

From the RC:

●We would like to seek out someone willing and able to create documentation, procedures, methods and structure for the Charities Office of the Region.  We would like more of a community service and charitable works done rather then just mere drives.  Any member interested in such should contact us.

Communications Office

●Welcoming submissions for the Regional Newsletter.

●Working on acquiring articles for the Regional Newsletter.

●Accepting submissions and nominations for chapter/domain highlights.

Events Office

●ICC 2005 – Oct 26-30 2005 – Phoenix AZ.

●SWRE 2006: Planning group has been created. Rowen Cota is adding bodies to the list and to the staff. Have a temp SWRE web site for comment available: http://www.titheofsouls.org/SWRE2006main.php

●Will be holding an open competition to design the actual logo for SWRE 2006. The winner will get a free admission to the event.

●WCRE 2007 – Both RC’s have agreed that they would like to combine their Regional Events into a single large scale event beginning in 2007. I have begun the process of organizing this for formal presentation to National. National must approve this event before actual planning can occur.

From the RC:

●I would like to see a document created for the Regional Lists and for the Regional Website detailing how one can hold, sponsor and support Mini-Regional events, I have heard from many individuals that how one does this is a mystery to the general membership and I would like to see the Events Office develop something of a Guide for Domains to use to work as a roadmap.

Member Review Office

Current projects include refining the SOP and writing a Prestige FAQ for the region. Of course, the queue is the main priority, and making sure that people who have been in the queue prior to the changing of the guard receive priority. Additional project: Compiling a list of all members in the region who are MC 9 or above. These projects are nearly complete.

Reports Office

● Completing an updated list of venues and contacts in the region for website update.

●There is a reason that the Regional Office sends out emails and notices to the coordinating staff. It is for the benefit of everyone that these notices are read and followed. Coordinators who do not use the new reporting format will be lowering their Domain Coordinator's prestige award. Domain Coordinators who do not use the new report format will be awarded no prestige and in cases where the Domain Coordinator is uncooperative with the Regional Staff - be docked prestige.  Coordinators and Domain Coordinators who *DO* utilize the new reporting format will be awarded regional prestige for their ability to follow directions and for their hard work. If you do not have the report format  whether it is for the Coordinator Report or the Domain Coordinator report, please email muhajat@gmail.com and the template will be sent to you.  You can also utilize the SW-Reports Archives to which *ALL* Coordinators, Domain Coordinators and their assistants must be subscribed to.

Lastly, every coordinator and domain coordinator *MUST* have an assistant. This is extraordinarily important because if there is an issue the assistant can and must file the monthly report.

Technology Office

●Lisa Schoop has made great progress on the CRD Prestige transfer tool. Now we are working on the export to text feature and we will then release it.
